Our client is a successful and growing medium sized company in the black country. To cover a maternity leave for a key credit controller within the head office they are looking for an experienced credit controller with a strong character to look after this important role.
The successful individual will oversee but not directly manage the work of several credit controllers around the organisation but the key part of the role is to look after a number of cases that have gone legal or just before they go legal. It is therefore essential that as well as being an experienced credit controller you have exposure to dealing with solicitors and debt collection agencies and understand the process they are required to go through so you can push and influence at the relevant times.
Pre legal you will be involved in setting up payment plans for customers in arrears. You will produce daily debtor lists to monitor cash collection and update the system following ever event. You will have weekly meetings with the Finance Director to report on progress and discuss problem accounts and action required.
The right person for this role will be very organised, extremely tenacious and have the ability to negotiate and influence tough characters. Following the 10 month contract there may well be opportunities for a permanent role as the business continues to grow.

My client a leading service provider are recruiting for an experienced Finance Supervisor on a 12 month contract.
Key Duties include:
