Due to an internal move this global organisation are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join its existing team based out of fantastic offices in Warwick.

Duties will include -

To analyse and interpret commercial credit requests.
To present reasoned recommendations to members of the credit team and members of credit committee.
To provide reasoned, informed and balanced credit decisions within the limitations of delegated personal underwriting authority.
To provide support as required in all areas of the credit department remit.
To provide support as required to the credit team leader and their managers.
To provide support to other areas of the business as required such as Stock Audits, Delinquent Debtors etc.
To ensure compliance with Credit Policies.
Comply with all company policies, directives and guidelines.
Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including Corporate Governance, Anti-Financial Crime (Anti-Money Laundering), Anti-Corruption (Bribery Act), Competition, Data Protection, Consumer Credit Act and FSA

To be considered you will need to have

- Ideally a University degree in Maths, Finance or Business Administration.
- Credit & risk experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Experience in underwriting commercial asset backed finance requests desirable; such as Operating - Lease, Contract Hire and Floorplan Financing.
- Strong analytical skills in relation to financial and company information.
- Strong decision making skills.
- Ability to negotiate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst producing accurate output.
- High level of PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point).

For this Investment Banking giant we are looking for an Operations Control Business Manager. Our client must demonstrate to regulators that it operates robust controls and can provide evidence of the existence and effectiveness of such controls. In order to meet these regulatory obligations regional control functions are being built out in Asia (APAC), Europe (EMEA) and the US. These teams will report directly into the regional COOs, as well as coordinate their activities under the direction of the Supervision function to implement global consistency through shared tools, methodologies and best practice. The EMEA Central Control Function will form part of the Front Office supervision and control framework to ensure that: Business (Level 1) controls are executed against a pre-determined schedule and supporting documentary evidence is both timely and complete, as well as follow up on any exceptions. Execute controls delegated by the Front Office to the control function. Provide monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) to product line and regional management teams. Engage product lines to embed a control culture. Interface with the Global Supervisoin team to shape tools, methodologies and processes. Interface with Legal/Compliance on new regulations and/or rule interpretations that may necessitate new control implementation. Act as a point of contact for internal/external audits and regulatory assessments. Key Responsibilities: Schedule EMEA control function Associate resource activities Communicate monthly MIS to governance forums and regional management Engage with product lines to embed a control culture Coordinate with APAC/US control functions and Global Supervision the regional implementation of new infrastructure, framework and processes Liaise with Compliance and Legal to ensure new regulatory requirements are adopted into the control framework You will have: Experience in defining processes, tools and methodology for managing regulatory controls Strong Operations background Strong Powerpoint skills Strong Process skills In depth experience with business processes Excellent written skills to document procedures Knowledge of SharePoint and Lotus Notes desirable You will be: Educated to Degree Level (or the relevant international equivalent) An assertive, effective communicator Detail oriented, structured and a methodical thinker Able to develop relationships across multiple businesses and countries Able to plan and organize work efficiently and deliver services promptly and reliably Able to adapt/change behavior or plans in order to achieve a target/objective Able to take appropriate action and show good judgment in critical situations An excellent team player Proficient with MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook Proactive with strong analytic skills and be able to identify opportunities and develop new ideas that will lead to improvements
