My client is a leading manufacturing organisation in Aberdeen, primarily supplying the oil and gas industry. This Internal Audit Manager job sits within an international Audit team and as such, will involve a small amount of travel. This role provides the opportunity to move in to other areas of finance and as such offers good career prospects.

As an Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing and completing audit assignments before writing reports and presenting recommendations. You will also challenge, where appropriate, management in relation to the control environment of key projects. As a Manager within the team, you will play a part in supporting, coaching and mentoring more junior members of staff.

Suitable applicants will hold an accountancy or audit qualification, and have either general ledger or external audit experience. You will have strong communication skills, and be capable of writing audit reports to a high standard. Due to the structure of the team, it is important that you are able to work independently, and are successful in building relationships and regularly engaging with key stakeholders within the business.
