ACA Qualified Senior Auditor
Our client is a global professional services organisation based in Central London. They are now looking to recruit an ACA Qualified Senior Auditor to join their team to cover the North West region
You will be a qualified ACA qualified Chartered Accountant and have substantial audit experience. You will have operated at Senior Manager level and be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of UK GAAP and ideally IFRS. You will be responsible for visiting firms of all sizes and reviewing their procedures, processes and controls to make sure that they comply with professional body standards and practice assurance regulations. You will be able to provide constructive professional advice and helps organisations identify practical solutions.
You will have strong communication and organisational skills and be able to manage your own time and meet deadlines. You will also have strong report writing skills and be able to advise at a senior level. You will also be involved in other projects relating to quality assurance.
Our client also works in advisory capacity with clients overseas so there is the opportunity to travel overseas on occasion however this role is based within the North West region and will predominately work with client in the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior level ACA Qualified Auditor to join a high profile organisation with an excellent reputation in its marketplace.
You will be based from home but will mainly work from a client's office for most of the week whilst auditing.
Our client offers a salary of £65-70K plus car allowance, pension and healthcare as well as expenses whilst on business.

They now have an opportunity available at their Head Office in Wythenshawe for a Credit Services Manager to join them to manage the department of 24 staff dealing with all aspects of credit control and sales administration for a £200m + business.
Optimising cash receipts from a diverse account portfolio of 15,000+ accounts, you will manage processes to set and review credit limits to balance commercial return and risks and supervise the workflow of the department, depending on the skills sets of the department. Providing reporting on performance to the Leadership Team as well as external agencies such as insurers, auditors and banks, you will provide advice on legal issues in relation to contract terms, Companies Act legislation, disputes and insolvencies and liaise with customers to ensure terms and on-going issues are addressed and resolved.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have experience of managing a department processing large numbers of transactions and supervising a high level of staff in a credit management or similar role. With a high level of presentation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally, you should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and an understanding of Financial Accounts and an ability to determine credit ratings from data provided.
An in depth knowledge of Companies Law in particular relating to terms, conditions, legislation, company ownership and insolvency is essential and you will preferably be ICM or similarly professionally qualified.

Our client is a large organisation in the leisure space that is going through an exciting new period of growth and restructure. As part of this they are looking to bring in a number of experienced auditors into their newly reorganised Internal Audit and Risk function. The Heads of Internal Audit and Risk are developing a new independent and risk based, global internal audit plan so need an experienced team to assist to develop and implement this plan with the effective completion of the required audits.
The role will take responsibility for broad audit operations to include strategic, financial, IT and operational risk. You will undertake planned internal audit activity, communicate and track findings to senior management then work jointly with the business in developing recommendations and plans for remediation in a key Business Partnering relationship.
The successful person for this role will have most likely trained within a large Accountancy firm, be qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, IIA or equivalent and will be experienced in delivering risk based internal audit and risk management engagements for large organisations. Someone who has trained within external audit and has the desire to move out into industry into internal audit will also be considered. The business will consider very bright and commercial newly qualified accountants upwards. If someone has an IT audit bias those skills could also be used.
The role can be based from home for periods of time if you wish then in the UK sites in the North West, East Midlands and London, with occasional travel to Europe. We’re recruiting for a Compliance Analyst to join our growing Compliance team based in Manchester. As a regulated business, AJ Bell must remain compliant with all FCA rules and guidance, to ensure the fair treatment of our clients and their assets.
Offering a variety of responsibility, the role will involve monitoring work under our risk based monitoring plan and preparing the monthly Compliance MI pack and its contents. Your monitoring work will involve giving feedback to department managers, tracking agreed actions and following up. You’ll be able to have an impact on the wider business and our employees through the delivery of compliance/regulatory training, including inductions and ongoing refresher training - this part of the role will involve you in preparing the materials for use in face to face and online training.
You will also assist the business by dealing with queries and reports on Compliance matters, including anti money laundering matters, escalating issues where appropriate to ensure they are dealt with promptly and within required timeframes.
Who are we looking for? You may have previous experience in compliance monitoring or support and you’re looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing business. Alternatively, you’re someone who has worked in a FCA regulated business - perhaps from a client services or administration background - who is looking to move into a Compliance role. You may hold professional qualifications but what’s most vital is that you’re passionate about developing your career in Compliance. You must have meticulous attention to detail in everything you do and you’ll also enjoy training delivery and presenting to others.
