My client, a well established manufacturing company based in Colne, are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant / Finance Analyst to join their busy finance team on a temporary basis until 31st May this year.


Reporting to the site Accountant and the General Manager, you will be preparing and analysing weekly accounts, including labour and yield analysis, stock reconciliation and providing overall support of the General Manager


The role requires the following-

- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills – particularly Yield and Production Analysis

- Excellent communication skills

- At least 2 years working within a financial environment

- CIMA qualification (Part Qualified Accountant)

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

- An assertive and flexible approach

- Experience within a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage

- Experience of Oracle would be an advantage
