An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Accountant to join our well regarded client based in Hertfordshire. You will provide a quality Group financial accounting service ensuring you maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders through timely and accurate information and communication.

Key responsibilities of the Group Financial Accountant job will include:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for all UK entities
- Ensure the monthly management accounts are delivered timely & accurately
- Preparation of consolidated budgets, monthly P&L, cash flow and balance sheet forecasts
- Identify opportunities to develop reporting, systems and processes
- Liaise with Auditors to improve efficiency and ensure clean audit
- Preparation of annual budget and cash-flow forecasts

The ideal Group Financial Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with good understanding of current accounting requirements
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with all levels within the business
- Self motivated problem solver that is able to work without direct supervision
- Strong IT skills to include Excel
- You will also have the ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally and externally, with a proactive, forward looking and challenging mindset.
