My client, a highly respected UK plc with turnover in excess of £300 million and a customer base in over 100 countries, requires a Finance Manager for a forthcoming maternity cover. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager role requires broad experience of both financial and management accounting. With responsibility for 3 European entities, the successful candidate will be required to spend 2-3 days per month travelling to the subsidiaries. Duties include;

* Commercial and financial support to the European General Managers and their management teams, particularly forecast preparation
* Coordinating and ensuring timely preparation of management accounts to meet group reporting deadlines
* Ensure financial accounting is maintaine, including the management of all balance sheet accounts and preparation of prepayments and accruals
* Coordinate preparation of half-year and year-end statutory packs for group reporting
* Management of external audit process and preparation of local tax and statutory accounts

Based in the fens, our large client has a current Interim vacancy for a Finance manager to lead all financial and management reporting for a subsidiary business. Reporting to the group financial controller and general manager, the position will manage one member of staff whilst maintaining a hands on approach.
