Our client is a leading regional firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors in the Midlands who are looking to grow their Corporate Tax team with a tax senior manager or potentially a Director with a wealth of exposure of successfully advising private business owners and their stakeholders on their efficient tax planning.
The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge or all tax issues relating to advising shareholders within mainly small and medium sized private businesses and groups and some private equity backed businesses. You will help clients in reducing their tax expense including: advising shareholders and high net worth individuals on capital gains tax planning, extracting cash tax efficiently, assisting groups reduce their overall effective tax rates and international reorganisations to reduce UK and overseas corporation tax.
You will also be someone who is keen to build on their own portfolio through networking and client development. The ability to work comfortably with both clients and also manage your team successfully and build up these relationships is essential. You will also be a qualified ACA and/or CTA or equivalent.
You will be supported by an experienced partner base who will give you all the support and skills necessary to progress to Director level if you so desire. This is an opportunity to join one of the leading and busiest Corporate Finance advisors in the UK within a Research Analyst role. You will take responsibility for helping to co-ordinate the research within the support services sector. You will be based from one of the UK offices in either London, the Midlands or the North West.
Key aspects of the role will be:-
- Identifying and researching potential buyers for businesses that the firm are selling
- Understanding key trends in the support services sector and who the leading businesses are, in both the UK and internationally
- Contributing to the sector teams marketing, in particular by providing thought pieces and content to the teams publications
You will work alongside deal-makers giving specialist sector support, presenting to both key intermediaries and sector teams both locally and sometimes internationally.
