An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insurance Account Handler within Aon, based in Southampton.
The role of an Insurance Account Handler is to provide a high quality service to clients in the commercial insurance sector.
The ideal candidate will already have a good understanding of the influences that shape this market and Aon are offering the opportunity to put your experience to the best use helping our commercial clients with every aspect of their insurance needs. This will include negotiating renewal terms, mid-term adjustments and cover extensions on their behalf.
The close involvement youll have with each client in your portfolio makes this role particularly satisfying. Youll be able to make a big contribution to the retention and development of our business, and use your knowledge and skills to help us secure new clients.
Were expecting you to have a good understanding of FSA regulations and the other rules and processes commercial insurance has to follow. You need to be familiar with standard desktop systems, including Word and Excel. In terms of personal qualities, were looking for people who continually try to improve their performance and service knowledge, and supporting their colleagues.

Prepare and maintain the information required to allow Client records to be accurate and up to date and sufficient to allow the information to be used for FSA compliance checks and the placing of Client covers.
Ensure Client covers are placed in accordance with the Commercial Focus Broking Strategy.
Comply with FSA regulatory and other standards as directed by line management including the creation and updating of accurate: Client information, Insurance Review Forms, premium invoicing and accounting information.
Record FSA Regulated complaints in a timely manner and assist line management, where appropriate, in resolving complaint issues.
