Requirements You will be a person who enjoys a challenging, fast moving environment and is flexible to change. You will have excellent time management skills, be able to manage others and be very comfortable working in a highly team oriented environment. Successful candidates will possess the following attributes: Industry and technical - Experience within the financial services industry. This experience will have been gained via working for a financial services company and/or via consulting for them or through an audit role. - Familiarity with the industry and technical issues and challenges facing CFO's today - Ability to quickly identify and understand the systems, processes and risks relevant to clients and their goal - Practical experience of leading change within a financial services finance function - Truly understand the interaction between IT and the business in a finance context and the importance of changing behaviours as well as changing processes. - Knowledge and experience of Management Information. - Experience in developing and implementing Finance Operation models is desirable, but not essential.Professional and interpersonal - Initiative and motivation - Intellectual curiosity and professional judgement - The ability to lead and motivate teams and individuals and to coach and develop the staff around them - Be comfortable and confident in dealing with the senior management of major blue chip financial services organisations - Flexibility in working in different environments - Strong interpersonal and communications abilities, including negotiation and influencing skills - A real desire to operate as an agent of change. The Individual Candidates should indicate and be able to demonstrate the depth and breadth of experience that they have in each of above areas. In addition, we expect you to be able to perform the following activities: - Run the team out at the client - dependent upon the size of the project - Manage the day to day client relationship - Demonstrate a good degree of commercial awareness and an ability to quickly identify and understand the systems, processes and risk relevant to clients and their goals. - Identify and convert business development opportunities evidenced by a high involvement in the proposal process - They will set high professional standards for themselves and those around them - All consultants will have delivery and business targets.
